The aim of this module is to introduce students to the major soil, physical and chemical properties affecting soil & water management and plant growth. This module also covers problematic soils, water and wind erosion, and soil and water pollution. Principles of efficient irrigation and fertilization systems, land use, and soil and water quality issues are also discussed.
